Local Life Together Project Vacancies

Teignbridge CVS has been operating a Migration and Resettlement Project for the past 4 years and the Local Life Together project will be building upon the experience we have gained, lessons we have learned and the relationships we have developed during this time. 

Local Life Together is designed as a coordinated refugee and migration support offer across Teignbridge. The service combines casework, community engagement, partnership coordination, monitoring and service development, with a focus on person-centred support, independence, integration, housing stability, employment, language development, financial resilience and community connection. 

We already have an experienced Case Worker and we are seeking to recruit two new members of the team. The team will be managed by, and will report to, the Chief Officer of Teignbridge CVS, who will be managing the contract we have for this project with our partners at Teignbridge District Council.

We are looking for Community Connector to help refugees and migrants living in Teignbridge build connections, confidence and opportunities within their local communities.

You will develop trusted relationships with organisations that can support refugees and migrants to integrate into local community life. Making connections with community, faith, education, employment and voluntary organisations, helping people access ESOL, volunteering, training, employment and social activities.

You will work closely with the Caseworker and Coordinator to strengthen referral pathways and respond to community needs. A culturally aware, approachable and inclusive approach is essential.

Are you an organised and analytical project coordinator who can turn information, relationships and local insight into effective services and measurable outcomes?
Local Life Together is a new Teignbridge-based refugee and migrant integration programme supporting refugees, Ukrainian guests and hosts, newly recognised refugees and the wider migrant population.
We are looking for a Coordinator to help ensure the project is well planned, effectively delivered and able to demonstrate its impact. You will lead the development and maintenance of the project plan, coordinate monitoring information and prepare progress and performance reports for Teignbridge District Council and other funders.
You will work closely with the Caseworker and Community Connector to ensure data is accurate, timely and meaningful, bringing together quantitative information, qualitative insight, case studies, feedback, risks and learning. You will monitor progress against agreed KPIs and use evidence to identify gaps, emerging pressures and opportunities for improvement.
Partnership development will be a key part of the role. You will strengthen referral pathways and develop relationships across advice, housing, language, employment, education, skills, financial resilience, volunteering and community services. This will include working with community and faith organisations, libraries, colleges, Jobcentre Plus, training providers, employers and voluntary organisations.
As the project progresses you will also contribute to lived-experience approaches, volunteer development and the identification of external funding opportunities, including supporting the development of future funding applications.
We are looking for someone with experience coordinating projects or services involving multiple partners, with strong data, communication and relationship-building skills. You will need to be organised, collaborative and confident using evidence and feedback to improve services and demonstrate impact.
