Alex started as a Hospital Discharge Support Worker with Teignbridge CVS in July 2023, based at Torbay Hospital. Working alongside Claire Dannatt, Alex works with patients, and their carers and families, to explore how voluntary and community services can help to maximise their wellbeing once discharged from hospital.
Alex has a degree in Social Work and has previously practised as a Social Worker as well as other roles in adult social care with Devon County Council and a social enterprise.
Outside of work, Alex is kept busy by his young children and enjoys walking and spending time at the beach.
