Wellbeing Coordinator - Volunteer Coordinator and Home from Hospital Service
Part time: 22.5 hours/week initially reducing to 18.75 hours/week after six months
Salary scale: £20,514 per annum pro rata, based on 37.5 hours/week WTE
Applications are invited for the post of Wellbeing Coordinator, to join their team to cover the Moorland Community Care Group catchment area of Bovey Tracey, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. This post has specific responsibilities for co-ordinating the volunteer body in Bovey Tracey, plus organising and delivering the Home from Hospital service across the whole MCCG area. successful candidate will work alongside the organisation’s existing Wellbeing coordinators.
Applicants should have some experience of working with elderly and vulnerable people, and with volunteers, although specific training in the designated field(s) of responsibility will be provided in conjunction with Teignbridge Community and Voluntary Services. You must have good interpersonal skills, appropriate IT skills, be efficient at keeping records, and be aware of the need for confidentiality when dealing with clients. You must have access to transport as our organisation supports a wide rural community and you may be asked to travel to carry out your tasks.
Part -time: 22 hours/week (to be worked as a combination of fixed/flexible hours by agreement)
Salary scale: £28,785 per annum pro-rata based on 37.5 hours WTE (equates to NJC point 25)
Moorland Community Care Group has grown rapidly over the last few years and now seeks to appoint a General Manager to maintain and develop the day-to-day management of the organisation, with particular reference to assisting the Board of Trustees.
Applications are invited for the General Manager post, to cover the Moorland Community Care Group catchment area of Bovey Tracey, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute to the strategic development of MCCG, working with the board of Trustees and alongside the organisation’s existing Wellbeing and Volunteer Co-ordinator Staff Team. This is a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months from the date of appointment but may be extended if funding becomes available.
Applicants should have good communication, planning and organisational skills. You should be experienced the use of Microsoft Office programmes, be aware of Charity governance processes and procedures and of the need to maintain confidentiality and good data handling processes.
Experience of writing funding applications and generating income is highly desirable in addition to working with and/or recruiting volunteers.
