Devon Digital Lives
Helping people in Devon get the digital skills they need.
Lacking basic digital skills (such as being able to pay for services online, getting advice, or using email) means that an enormous number of people in Devon are disadvantaged in the most important ways.
Digital exclusion can lead to:
• Poorer health and a lower life expectancy
• Increased loneliness and social isolation
• Less access to jobs and education
But if you can use a computer, you can help. You can become a Devon Digital Lives volunteer!
As a Digital Lives volunteer you can improve others’ lives by providing basic digital support, whether in an informal family setting (such as helping a relative start shopping online, for example), in the community (by volunteering at one of the main ‘Digital Drop-in’ sessions held at libraries, for example) or at your place of work.
