This will be the second CAG Devon Skill Share, bringing together groups from the growing CAG network, and beyond to share skills, ideas and inspiration around environmental community action. This year we will be collaborating with Eden Project Communities so, as well as sharing experience and skills with other CAGs, there will be the chance to hear from them and connect with their network of Devon-based community change makers. 4 new groups have recently joined the network and there will be a lot of structured and unstructured opportunities to connect with, inspire and learn from each other.
The booking will be free and there will be a small charge on a sliding scale ranging from free to £10, to cover the costs of the day. You will be able to book on once we have confirmed the programme and set up a booking page, which we hope to do by early December. To give you a taste of what to look forward to the sessions will include:
- Food surplus projects, including community fridges;
- Community plastic projects
- Keeping your group active, including filling the core roles;
Shout about It! Raising the profile or your group of project
- Engaging new people from your community
- Feeling overwhelmed? Avoiding burnout
