HAVING YOUR VOICE HEARD

The CVS is often asked to inform and consult local voluntary and community organisations on specific issues or developments that need a local voluntary and community sector voice.  We have established effective communication mechanisms enabling you to receive timely and relevant information and our database allows for groups to identify the level, and in what area, they wish to become involved.

Where appropriate, the CVS will hold one-off workshops and forums to enable the sector to come together to discuss and debate.  The next Teignbridge Volunteer Organisers Forum will take place on Thursday 8th October 2009, 11.00 - 1.30, venue to be arranged.

Teignbridge CVS, as part of Devon Association of CVS (DACVS) has been working with colleagues to ensure the voice of the local voluntary and community sector is heard at county level.  To find out more visit  www.dacvs.org.uk
