MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Free membership of the CVS for 12 months
The Board of Trustees at Teignbridge CVS
recognise that a number of voluntary organisations and community groups
have limited financial resources in the current economic climate and
have agreed that one way in which the CVS should respond to these
difficulties by providing free membership of the CVS from the 1st April
2010 for one year.
If your group is not a member of the CVS but would like to take up

The Board of Trustees will review this decision
early 2011 with regard to membership 2011/12.
FULL membership of Teignbridge CVS is open to any voluntary, community
or charitable organisation based in, or operating within, the local
government District of Teignbridge that supports the aims and objectives
of the CVS. ASSOCIATE membership is available to other organisations
(sympathetic to our aims) that do not qualify for full membership.

Teignbridge CVS supports the principle of equal opportunities in its

What is
the costs of membership?
The membership fee is currently only £5 per annum for voluntary
organisations with an an annual turnover of less than £50,000.
Will
membership involve any extra work or commitment?
The obligations of membership are simply that your organisation supports
the aims of the CVS - there is no requirement for you to attend meetings
if you do not wish to do so.
