Teignbridge Community and Voluntary Services (CVS) exists to improve the quality of life of the people of Teignbridge through voluntary action. We do this by developing, supporting and promoting the work of voluntary organisations and community groups in Teignbridge and helping them to be as effective and sustainable as possible.

Teignbridge CVS works primarily with voluntary and community groups in the district, helping them to best support their user groups and communities.

Teignbridge CVS was registered as a charity in 1992 and in 2011 as a company limited by guarantee; it is governed by it's Memorandum and Articles of Association.

We are a member of the National Association of Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA), National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and Volunteering England (VE).

Our Aims and Objectives

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the public, principally but not exclusively in the local government area of Teignbridge and its environs and, in particular, build the capacity of third sector organisations and provide them with the necessary support, information and services to enable them to pursue or contribute to any charitable purpose.

To promote, organise and facilitate co-operation and partnership working between third sector, statutory and other relevant bodies in the achievement of the above purposes within the area of benefit.
