This is an online group for carers who live and work in Devon. Carers are people of any age – children, family, friends, and neighbours – who help to look after other people because of illness, frailty or disability. Carers are unpaid. This online group provides a way for carers to meet online, talk and support each other through sharing experiences, discussing common issues and forming friendships.

Carers can chat live online 24 hours a day. To log onto the chat room please enter a username, click the button "Connect" then start chatting! Do not disclose your full name for your own personal safety.

If you would like to chat now with other carers please enter the chatroom.

If there are no carers in the chatroom, or if you would like to discuss a topic then please leave a message on the discussion board - use the link on the left. Carers can then respond to your message at any time.

Suggested times to meet online: Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays at 11am, 2pm and 8pm. Hopefully that should create some critical mass! Type name, click twice to enter, then try making a sound to wake the others up, click on the music note icon and select a fun sound! See Recent Room History by clicking on Action.
