Salary £21,457 (pro-rata)
We are an independent, local charity which operates from Magistrates Courts in Plymouth, Truro and Bodmin. We work mainly, though not exclusively, with offenders and their families and help to provide supported sign-posting to local specialist services. We are delighted to have attracted new funds which create an opportunity for service development into Newton Abbot, in Devon.
This part time (22.5 hours per week) position is funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Initially funded for two years, there is potential for this role to become permanent.
The role will include;
• Delivery of services at courts
• Management and development of volunteers
• Working with clients
• Networking with partner organisations
• Flexibility and commitment
• Genuine interest in the client group and support organisations
• Understanding of the values of the charitable sector
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly and to complete an enhanced DBS check as they will be working with vulnerable adults. Use of a car is essential.

Job Opportunity - Assist Teignbridge
We are looking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator for 27 ½ hrs per week, Monday to Friday at the rate of £8.50 per hour.
Based in the Assist Teignbridge Office at the Manor House, Dawlish. Key tasks include the recruitment of local volunteers and assessing and matching client’s needs with available volunteers.
